Glad you put aside the bad taste in your mouth from not eating there and have been seduced by the truly great food at this place. Our pickiest/most ardent eater has declared it terrific, and who are we to argue? Maybe go there after a beach walk?

Allow me, Cyn! Here’s a link to Mpls banh mi joints. According to the midwest Chowhounds, Saigon is your best bet. I like the looks of the sammy in the 5th photo, and while she doesn’t say where it’s from, I’m guessing Saigon. Go forth and test, and report back!
